7-Eleven Chicken Wings Review

7Eleven

Wings 3

Dude, how yummy do those wings look?

What you're seeing there is a sample of 7-Eleven's chicken wings. What, 7-Eleven sells chicken wings? Yeah, that's what I said too. I am not a 7-Eleven shopper, at all. I tend to go to another convenience store when I want to get a quick something. When I was offered the chance to try 7-Eleven's chicken wings for FREE by BzzAgent, I figured why not, free is always good.

Since I never go into 7-Eleven, I had no idea they even served hot food. Turns out, they do! Chicken wings, pizza, taquitos, and hot dogs are just a few of the goodies offered at most 7-Eleven stores. I was so ignorant about this, I had to ask Mr. Frog where to get the wings. He told me most 7-Eleven stores had a hot bar where they have the baked fresh in the store items available. You just have to ask a friendly 7-Eleven team member for assistance. Here are a couple of pictures of how the bar is set up:

You can see that the store I picked my wings up at had wings, pizza, chicken tenders, and beef patties available.I chose to get two wings of each kind 7-Eleven sells; the traditional breaded, spicy-flavored Wing Zings, the Asian-style sweet and sour Dragon Wings, and the Zesty BBQ Wings. My favorite, by far, were the Zesty BBQ Wings. Of course I shared with the family. Mr. Frog and B liked the spicy Wing Zings, M and K also liked the BBQ Wings, and D liked the Dragon Wings. 7-Eleven has something for all the palates in our family!

If you're looking to satisfy some late-night munchies, pack a punch at your next party, or just grab a quick lunch, stop by a 7-Eleven near you and check them out. You'll be glad you did!

BUY-IT

7-Eleven chicken wings are available at a 7-Eleven near you for just 50¢ per wing, or 6 for $2.99, 12 for $5.79, or 24 for $9.99.

TRY-IT

I have a coupon available for one of you lucky readers! It's a buy 3, get 3 free coupon. (In my state of MD, the wings are then $1.58 for 6. YMMV depending on state)

If you would like to receive this coupon, leave me a comment here telling me which wing you think you'll like the most. Make sure there's an email address in your comment so I can get in touch with you should you win. I will randomly choose a winner on Friday, September 10th at noon.

Thanks to BzzAgent and 7-Eleven for this opportunity. These opinions are honest and my own. No monetary compensation was received in exchange for this post.

  1. 7-11 Chicken Wings are totally awesome. At my local shop the guys know me so well, that if there are none ready, they start cooking them when I walk in the door. They are not available everywhere, I live in CA and was quite disappointed when I went to Chicago and found the shops there to be wingless.

  2. I've been cooking peppers and onions in the skillet on the grill a lot lately. I'll have to add jalapenos next time. Yum. I like cooking bacon that way too, although hot fat + open flame adds a nice element of danger. I used to get flank steak, but my husband got me to try the carne asada cut from our local market, and I prefer it. Not sure if it's thin-cut flank or skirt (I'll have to ask), but it looks like this
